Hamner 'Ham' C. Williams was born and raised on a farm in the state of Missouri until his completion of the eight grades. Having been sent to St. Louis, Missouri to live with his aunt to attend Vashion high School for three and half years, he then attended Stowe Teachers College in St. Louis for one year. Ham worked for the federal government and spent two years in the army and is a veteran of the Korean conflict. Graduated from university of Denver where received a BS degree in Business Administration. Spent 27 years with IBM in systems development, marketing, marketing management and marketing education of which two of those years were spent as an adjunct professor at Hampton University, Hampton, VA. In their business department.
Subjects taught at Hampton were: Principle of Marketing, Computer Concepts, Sales Management, Business Organization, Information System for Management, Business Law and Personal Management. Ham is currently retired, playing golf, writing and traveling and enjoying life.
"Let me dream with you a bit. I would like for the subject of each chapter to be taught in every high school in the country. The book to be used as extra reading in college classes where the materials in the chapters are covered. It can also be used by parents to have meaningful discussions with their children. I'm not asking people to use my opinion on each subject but to discuss their own thoughts with their child/children. Maybe, when we start talking, we start taking some action to direct this country in the direction that each of us would want our country to take.”
